Da Vinci Schools is thrilled to offer both choir and theater classes to all Da Vinci Students! Choir and Theater Classes will be available to Connect K-8 students one day per week on homeschool days, either on Tuesday OR on Thursday for the Fall Semester. Classes will take place at 201 N. Douglas in the Black Box Theater, with our choir teacher Alexi and our theater teacher Diane. Parents/Guardians are responsible for providing transportation to and from each class. Please read our class descriptions below:

Choir: Welcome to choir! Choir is a fun opportunity to come together and sing some great music. Whether you’ve sung on Broadway or just like to sing in the shower, choir is open to students of all experience levels. And with a K-5 group and a 6-8 group, we’ll be doing music that fits with each age group and gives students plenty of opportunities to learn, grow, and shine! We’ll be doing a wide range of music from old to new and a variety of genres, all guaranteed to make you feel good, so come on out and let’s make some music! Taught by Alexi Paraschos.

Theater: We are so excited to raise the curtain on our new Theatrical Arts program here at The Da Vinci Schools! Whether exploring drama and musical theatre for the first time, or growing and evolving existing skills, your participation will be celebrated! Young artists in K-8 will have an opportunity to build and develop performance skills, enjoy personal, artistic, academic, and social/emotional growth and development, and work as a creative, collaborative community as they learn, train and participate in the art and craft of drama and musical theatre. All activities are designed to impart valuable knowledge and share pertinent practices that can be applied both on and off the stage. From published Broadway material to original pieces actualized by students, our time together will be activated, energized, and steeped in meaningful moments! There will be three sessions this semester: K-2nd grade | 3rd-5th grade | 6th -8th grade. Taught by Diane Feldman.

Our Performing Arts team has created an incredible schedule of classes that are grouped by different age levels, and would allow for students to participate in their age-level choir and theater class back to back, if interested! If you would like your child to participate in choir and/or theater, please complete THIS FORM no later than Wednesday, September 6th. We will then confirm class rosters and will share additional information before the first week of classes on September 12th.
