Families are required to log their homeschool learning in reading, writing, and math and submit evidence of work (1 sample for each subject) every few weeks via “Learning Logs” (LL). Learning Log completion and on-time submission is a high stakes requirement that is audited by the state of CA each year and is directly connected to funding that keeps our school open. Compliance in our Learning Log processes is important for families to understand and complete successfully each Learning Log period. Important Reminders
🔹 Include All Required Subjects: when completing the log, please make sure that each daily homeschool entry includes reading, writing, and math, along with a detailed description of the work completed.
🔹 Full Name and Date on All Work Samples: before uploading to Canvas, make sure each work sample includes: Student’s full name (first & last) and a complete date (MM/DD/YYYY) that falls on a homeschool/school day
🔹 Learning Logs are due by 11:59 PM on their due date: No early submissions for the Learning Log. Work samples may still be submitted earlier than the due date — thank you to those who get them in earlier!
🔹 Check feedback comments in Canvas and make necessary changes to avoid a non compliance letter.
